[ meme ] Offscreen/Info Dump
I did one of these over a year ago and Chariot's largely changed a lot of his habits, so I decided to post a new entry instead of editing the old one. Old one is here for reference!
Appearance
♞ Consistently wears this outfit now. The tie varies in color in design, but he generally wears white or red collared shirts under the jacket.
♞ He still has his green jacket, but generally only wears it when he can't wear the black one for some reason.
♞ Wears reading glasses, but only around Onyx when he's reading for a prolonged period of time.
♞ There are a ton of pockets on his jacket! His jacket is also pretty heavy. Typically, at any time he'll be carrying his whip, a pistol, a small first aid kit, extra bandages, small snacks (dried fruit, candy if he can find any, bread rolls, etc), Enzio, turtle treats, a pair of reading glasses in a case, napkins, a notepad/pen, a small canister of water, and a few misc things he'll pick up from Onyx or around Aather.
♞ In addition to the canon tattoos on his left arm/collarbone and side/back left shoulder, Chariot has a tattoo of the Onyx key on the back of his right arm, roughly four inches long, with thorned vines entangled around it and two wolf heads that trail off into lightning criss-crossed just above his wrist.
♞ Always has a few minor scrapes/cuts/bruises somewhere on his body. Typically bruises and scrapes more often since his clothes protect him from cuts. They're self-inflicted from trying to move around Aather on his own and heal within a couple of days.
Body Language
♞ Casual body language while talking. Kind of slouches a bit while standing, but maintains eye contact. Smiles a lot while he's talking.
♞ When he's uncomfortable but not avoidant about a topic, his body language becomes a lot stiffer and he generally avoids eye contact. He also starts messing with his own hair when he's feelings embarrassed or awkward.
♞ When he doesn't actually want to talk about something or feels threatened in some way, his gaze becomes sharper, his posture straightens up a little and he gets more direct with his words.
♞ Tampered way down on the physical affection; generally only uses it for people he's fond of in a hair-ruffling-you're-cute way. Doesn't mind being leaned on or touched himself, but doesn't seek out people to lean on himself anymore.
♞ His body posture/gait/awareness become noticeably more awkward when he's not in Onyx/near someone from Onyx. He'll begin to trip over his feet more, pay less attention to where he's going, etc.
♞ Typically trips over his feet or clips himself by nearly walking into something when he's not around Onyx. Falling into bushes is more of a every other day thing.
♞ Chariot is able to function completely by himself in all areas of Onyx, including the library, and the immediate area around Onyx. Once he gets about 50 feet or so away from it he starts losing coordination.
Verbal Language/Speech Mannerisms
♞ Sounds like this!
♞ Generally uses very casual language/slang. He cleans up his language a little for people he respects/Maleficent.
♞ Chatty, but not nearly as much as he used to be. Generally prefers to fill a silence void, but will leave one alone if the mood/person calls for it.
Memories
♞ Typically takes his memories by himself in his room.
♞ Keeps all of his item memories in a small box under his bed.
♞ Any mafia-related memories are written about in detail in his mafia notebook (see below) immediately.
Room
♞ Messy in the way of someone who tries to keep his room clean but often forgets to.
♞ From the Onyx doc: "Each bedroom is round, with a wide pillar in the center where the stairwell cuts up through the middle of it. There is a window in each cardinal direction." Chariot's bed is next to the window closest to the door and his desk is by the window immediately clockwise, with a small bookshelf next to the desk. He has an armoire and tall dresser clockwise of the desk, with a thicker curtain hanging in front of the window so he can change without people walking in/peeking in at him. Counter-clockwise of the desk is 6ft by 5ft open terrarium with curved walls to fit against Onyx's walls. It's a desert habitat designed for turtles with a distinctive lack of pools of water.
♞ The armoire, dresser, bookshelf, and desk are black in color. He also has cream-colored rugs scattered across the floor.
♞ His bed sheets/blankets/pillow are cream-colored while the bed frame itself is black. The bed's usually half-heartedly made if he's not sleeping in it.
♞ Keeps his sex stuff in a drawer that was added onto his bedside table. CLASSY.
♞ Some of the gratuitous pillows from Chariot's bed have been placed on top of a pair of rugs on the floor on either side of it. They LOOK like they've just fallen off the bed but Chariot puts them there so falling off his bed in the morning hurts less.
♞ The desk is clean and organized with a nice collection of office supplies. Also a pair of reading glasses are kept on his desk in a container.
♞ Keeps a mafianotebook hidden in a secret panel in his desk. Inside of it is everything he remembers/has learned from other people about the mafia, what it does, the people he's remembered and their role, etc.
♞ All of his clothes are kept in the armoire and dresser now. Owns a pretty wide wardrobe by now, which roughly consists of: two changes of sleeping clothes, a good dozen or more t-shirts by now, some long-sleeved shirts, a couple hoodies, some nondescript jackets, random hipster clothing, a few pairs of cargoes, a wide variety of solid color dress shirts and dark colored slacks, his green fur-linned jacket, lots of simple belts, multiple three-piece suits of varying color combinations, a ridiculous amount of ties, three pairs of sneakers, two pairs of dress shoes, and boots. GENERALLY he does own most of the clothes in his icons by now since he's had some really expansive memories.
♞ There's still a keg of gunpowder somewhere in his room. Somewhere. Enzio may have ate it by now though.
Routine
♞ Sleeps about 6 hours at night, with a nap sometime during the day if he's tired.
♞ Either follows someone down into the kitchen for breakfast (typically David or Sasuke) or snags himself something premade. There's always a bunch of crumbs hastily wiped away on the counter if he does eat alone.
♞ Takes Enzio for a walk after breakfast, more to stretch his own legs than actually walk his turtle.
♞ Spends a good portion of either his morning or afternoon training with Sasuke. Trains until he's worn out, then heads back to Onyx for a shower, snack/meal, and rest before getting on with his day.
♞ Heads back to the tower around lunch to see what he can freeload/find. He won't actively track down someone to cook unless you happen to be in the immediate kitchen vicinity.
♞ Will spend his day generally just walking around or reading whatever non-fictional books he can get a hold of, either in Onyx library or in Onyx's common room.
♞ Evenings and nights are his free times, but doesn't walk around as much during these times as he does during the day. Too much stuff to trip over.
♞ Doesn't patrol or go out during monster hours unless someone invites him out.
♞ Iiiif he's alone at night, he'll stay up in his room for an hour or so and just talk to Maleficent. Or at least say her name then start talking to his walls and hopes she listens.
Training/Fighting
♞ His training focus for the most part is general physical training. He's not trying to BEEF UP but he is trying to stay in shape/be able to keep up with all the shounen/rpg fighters without losing his touch.
♞ Currently has back all of his whip and gun related skills, so his focus of study is on developing new techniques that incorporate both, or uses the whip in unique ways.
♞ His current skill level with his whip has him managing to keep up with skilled sword users and constant training with Sasuke has built up his speed, reaction timing, and stamina past canon.
♞ Has the sky ring and flame box for Scuderia (the rapidash) that his future self had. Doesn't have the learned skill to use either though, so he's slowly teaching himself how to activate the ring through what he can remember.
♞ Currently he's only able to get the ring to spark a little sometimes throughout an intense fight. Leaves him pretty wiped afterward.
♞ Can and will use Enzio in a fight as well; keeps a small container of water in his jacket in case of emergencies that require a giant angry turtle.
♞ Learns best through actual combat! And does bother Sasuke to spar with him after working out new techniques in his head.
♞ Enjoys fighting a person a lot more than fighting a monster for training.
