HOW IS DUSK DOING.

STEADY he's a lot less tense now that Mitchell's back to normal, but he was still feeling guilty over not talking with Dawn since like. Before Dawn's heartgame. And then ignoring him after it too when he's actually been really worried about what other effects/changes might have been made inside Dawn. He's also been feeling kind of bad about himself not being able to help Dawn more/general uselessness feelings, since Guy was the one who cleaned most of the corruption away and Vriska was the one who came up with catapulting themselves into Dawn's true heart. It stirred up some of his so-far-dormant 'I am useless' feelings that he's been covering up by working extra hard for the team whenever he can. I'm also currently doing a thread where he's finally talking with Dawn again so it might change his general dawn-sad mood.

ON THE FLIP SIDE all of his dere has been getting poured into Konatsu, who he is... going on a magical sex room quest with once they get in contact with Kiriko. Konatsu is super his stabilizing figure right now and the person he goes to when he's frustrated or sad or. Anything.

IN CONCLUSION dawn-sad that may get fixed soon, but appearance of useless feelings has him settled in a neutral mood overall instead of the positive-neutral one he used to be in. :|a

HOW'S KING DOING I have been the worst teammate recently...

No it's okay I have been a pretty terrible teammate lately too.

KING IS... OKAY. He was pretty stressed out during the whole Mitchell thing because he decided he was going to try to take all the most unpleasant responsibilities on himself because he would take it best (...) and of course the part where they had to go out every dawn and dusk was exhausting so he was running at the edge of his rope for a while. Then Mitchell was suddenly better and he didn't really know what to do because he had mentally prepared himself for it going on a lot longer. :'D

This is not helped by the fact that he has a whole lot of emotional issues he's avoiding right now too. He is worried about Misato after her heart game, and especially worried about forcing her into things with him that she doesn't want, so he's avoiding her right now! Or "giving her time." He had a ~shared dream~ with Yuri that almost involved sex in prison before he woke up, and while he doesn't know it was a shared dream he is sort of avoiding Yuri so he doesn't have to deal with thinking about that either!

So he's kind of at loose ends right now and has kind of run out of other things to focus all his energy on so instead he is just fussing around and worrying about the ominous unlocks mostly. He has been doing a pretty good job of withdrawing from people lately in general. Including his team, and not only because I fail, but also because of stuff around the Mitchell thing in general. I think Ferris is the only one he is really still talking to about things atm.

I'LL PROBABLY GIVE HIM HIS DEATH MEMORY SOON THOUGH I'm sure that will... help...

What would Dusk do if Van showed up in Aather right now.

... Keep Konatsu from killing him first off.

FIND OUT WHAT SPECIFICALLY HE REMEMBERS TO START then try to. Not so subtly monitor his progress/memories/TRY TO SEE if they (since I assume Dawn will be RIGHT HERE with him) can put Van on a Good Path that does not involve killing everyone. Because as much as Dusk is angry and resentful of Van he still deep down loves him.

All of current TE gets booked at the same time and new TE appear to take their place. King's initial reaction?

HA HA THAT WOULD GO SO BADLY. Raven would freak out a lot if any of current TE were booked, really, since TE has been so stable. If all of them were gone he would... not take it well. He would probably do his best to be an authority figure and get them settled and take care of them while not actually sharing anything about himself to speak of and not showing how upset he was! Until he cracked under the pressure anyway.

At some point he might try to run off and be a knight if anyone would let him, even though he has an aversion to knighthood, because he would pretty much be doing stuff all on his own anyway and that way they could form into a new team without him dragging them down. ;;

GOSH There would be so much sad but Dusk would force himself to. Power through it and try to work things out with the new team. SHOW THEM HOW THINGS WERE DONE while trying to accommodate the fact that they're not his old team! Would definitely be holding himself at a distance though and spent a lot more time either with Konatsu or talking with Dawn. Further reactions would depend on what the new team is like.

NOT VERY GOOD RIGHT NOW. She just took a couple of negative memories and basically she got a big dose of "nothing is really accomplished without fighting and I'm not good at fighting and can't do it anyway because I'm too scared." That combined with the fact that Amethyst KEEPS GETTING HURT and the fact that she hasn't been able to help them not get hurt or even help win games lately (because she's missed them or they have been stuff like courting and crossdressing and embarrassing feelings she doesn't have) means she's pretty depressed atm! She is in a place where she might even try to face down danger the next time it comes up in a game/etc., which... may or may not go extremely badly because her instinct is still to cower and hide in the face of danger.

Other than that though... she only has six memories left on her registry now and they are all neutral/positive! So she is probably heading for good end soonish, although I may pad it a bit more depending on if she needs a bit more time for her character arc. :|a

Except she's a little better after Firebird's game because she felt useful! And her one attempt to try to be aggressive in the game was aggressively useless, so she is leaning back towards thinking doing things her way is best. Also they won so she only has five memories left now, and the memory she got will be a bit of a confidence booster too. :|b

You have to drop everyone and replace them with new characters; who do you app?

Man I am having a hard enough time coming up with one new person to app. But probably Balalaika and... WAIT WAIT NO, actually if I had to drop Raven it would be tons easier, because I could app the people I'd never app alongside Raven. I would app Rita! :B And then like... maybe Battler from Umineko, if I ever finish it.

If you had to put Chariot on a team what team would you put him on?

Kunzite just to surround him with cute. oh no tiny cute everywhere, can't have sex in the cabin sort of thing.

How different do you think Raven would've been if he started as a knight?

Very different! Tiger's Eye has been a really good influence on him. I couldn't say precisely how though. He would probably have ended up more Schwann-y though, both just generally due to the knight-ness and because the isolation and personal responsibility of the role would have started getting to him when he started getting bad memories! He wouldn't have any incentive to hold it together for the sake of other people who are depending on him. Or not as much. So I think he would have ended up very depressed and closed off and dedicated to his role while being pretty certain he was unworthy of it. Which is why I didn't app him as a knight. |D That and the fact that I didn't have faith in my ability to OOCly keep up with it. ALTHOUGH MAYBE HE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOPPED BY OTHER KNIGHTS AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN OKAY IDK.

How does Chariot view his role as a knight?

He views knights kind of like guardians and providers for the teams, which is why he doesn't feel like he's really a knight because he can't physically protect or help people the way all the other knights can. Not by himself, anyway, so he feels pretty inadequate about fulfilling the role of a knight. He idolizes people like Sion and Sasuke in this regard because (in his view and he has a VERY limited view of them due to controlled interactions) they're cool-headed people who have their shit together and can think of what's best for the teams as well as fight/protect them physically. HE'S WORKING ON THIS by training with Sasuke and... doing little things that he can think of to help out the teams, but there's always that feeling of 'is this really enough huh'.

What are King's current 'after this is all over, I'm going to...' plans?

THAT WOULD IMPLY RAVEN PLANS. He does not. If anything he probably assumes he'll just go home just because that was what was presented to him initially! If he really thought about it he wouldn't be sure he wanted to go home since he has important people here. But he really has not thought about it consciously, he just takes things as they come. It's a thing he does.

If you could go back in time and change the order either of yours got their memories, would you change anything?

I would have maybe spaced out Dusk's Van-related memories more because he kept getting good-Van ones all in a row after getting kidnapped/manipulated-by-Van memories and that kind of made it hard to be appropriately angry with Van.

I'm pretty pleased with Chariot's memories so far though.
