That's hahaha that's not fair! There's no one here to use it with.

[sits it down on the cushion beside him and looks at the television... is there a remote somewhere or he going to actually have to get up to turn it on?]

There's a remote on the couch, yes!

[lets see if we can figure out how to turn the TV on then :)]

Press enough buttons and it's on!

It's a replay of the dream Spitfire and Chariot once shared.

[well that's enough to startle him -- sitting forward and watching the screen intently]

SURE IS AT ON THERE though at some bits the screen goes fuzzy or near black- as if it's not all quite there.

Wait... damn it!

[standing up and walking over to touch the television]

What... [he looks around the room again] Chariot?

Eventually, the scene ends and the TV goes black. There's no response from the room.

[fallinflames]

[runs a hand through his hair in frustration and looks back at the tube before walking over and brushing away a good solid area all the way around it so the crystal inside is easily visible]

[mylittlecavallone]

The room becomes much more illuminated by the light of the crystal. There's also a faint noise upstairs now, like the rustle of sheets.

[taking the stairs two at a time then]

Upstairs is a bed that looks very much like Chariot's... and that is very much Chariot sleeping in the middle of it.

[slows as he approaches the bed]

Hey... Chariot?

[mylittlecavallone]

He rolls over drowsily and glances up; it very quickly becomes evident that he's missing all of his original tattoos, save for the onyx key and decor on his right arm.

"Mm?"

[fallinflames]

[slows to a stop even more uncertainly]

Ah...

[mylittlecavallone]

He pushes himself up, blinking a little dazedly at Spitfire.

"Spitfire? What's up?"

[fallinflames]

... Your tattoos...

[mylittlecavallone]

He glances down.

"--Ah, yeah, sorry, I'm not really..."

"They're here. They're just not... all here, y'know? Not right now."

[fallinflames]

[crawls onto the bed, reaching for Chariot's side where the tattoos should have been]

It's... why aren't they here?

[mylittlecavallone]

He laughs, faintly.

"They're not a part of here. These are."

[fallinflames]

[smooths his hand across Chariot's stomach]

Is there a place where they are?

[mylittlecavallone]

His eyes close with a laugh.

"Yeah, they're out there, but I'd really rather you not go find them. Not yet."

[fallinflames]

Why not?

[sliding his hand up to touch the bare side of Chariot's neck]

[mylittlecavallone]

"I don't know enough about out there yet. I couldn't send you out there without any kind of warning, y'know?"

[fallinflames]

[and brushing his fingers through blond hair]

I guess I can understand that a little.
